For most of my life, I have been a musician (see my music page for more on this). But I also have a technical side, and I am learning how to be a programmer. I have experience working as a database administrator, an intranet developer, and a web developer, so I am very familiar with HTML, CSS, javascript, and jQuery. I am also comfortable with SQL. I have recently completed an Associate Certificate in Applied Software Development (with distinction) at BCIT.

Interests

Music remains a very important part of my life. I am the resident Music Director and arranger for The Broadway Chorus, a community theatre group in Vancouver. I also accept commissions for other groups.

I like to do jigsaw puzzles - I find that is it quite similar to programming! My family also keeps me very active - we love swimming and board games.
